Theatre Group of the Year 2020 / 21

As a valued Member, Volunteer or Audience Member, we wanted to update you on the steps Jazz Hands Glasgow Productions are taking to help minimise the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).


We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland carefully. It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our Members, Volunteers or Audience Members


In line with government guidance, we are continuing to operate as usual. We will continue to keep in touch with you and follow official guidance from the Scottish Government carefully. 



Friday 14th May 2021 - 9pm

Due to the latest government announcement stating that Glasgow is staying in Level 3 for another week and with restrictions of not being allowed to travel outside the city or into the city. Our Relaunch planned for this coming Monday has been postponed to Monday 24th (fingers crossed)

Monday 10th May 2021
Only 1 week left until Jazz Hands Glasgow Productions begins Rehearsals again after being stopped for over 1 year since Covid-19 Started. We are only open for existing members. If you would like to join our 2022 waiting list please email info@jazzhandsscotland.co.uk. 
Once we are back we will be fully Covid secure.

Thursday 5th November 2020 - 12 Noon

We are currently working on our 2nd Online Pantomime and this will be launched online the week we were supposed to be performing The Wizard of Oz Pantomime. This will all be conducted via video call etc as to stop the need for our group to be meeting up. We are also unable to return to our Rehersal venue at present and we hope to return when the time is right and it is safe for us to do so.


Wednesday 7th October 2020 - 11.20pm

We are now planning on having our Wizard of Oz Pantomime in September or October of 2021. Information regarding ticket sales etc will be announced asap please keep checking our social media pages for more information. 

Thursday 23rd April 2020 - 8.30pm

Due to the on going situation with Covid-19 we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Wizard of Oz Pantomime until 2021. New dates will be announced ASAP but we are looking at having our Pantomime in February or March 2021 for 3 or 4 performances.

We will be in touch asap with anyone who had tickets for our show in December.

Monday 16th March - 4.30pm

Please note that our group has been suspended until further notice with our last session taking place on Monday 16th March 7pm-9pm. This is due to our rehearsal hall suspending all groups and closing until further notice from Tuesday 18th March.

Monday 16th March - 10am


At present our Fundraising Bag Packing at Morrisons in Cardonald which is planned for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 10am-6pm will be going ahead at present as planned. We have been in touch with the supermarket who at present are happy for us to continue our fundraising at the Weekend. We however need to contact them again on Fri 20th for further updates. 

Monday 16th March - 8am


All Jazz Hands Glasgow Productions Classes are going ahead as planned. We would advise that all members and volunteers wash there hands before, during and after classes. We will closely monitor the situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and update you with any updates regarding our group.

Individuals should continue to observe the medical advice available at NHS Inform.”

Update 13th March 2020 - 1.30pm

We are operating as normal and will now use antibacterial cleaner before and after group sessions. We would encourage all members and volunteers to wash there hands before and after group sessions. If any members feel unwell and can't attend group for any reason please text 07447 413 613 or message us on Facebook. 

Update 12th March 2020 - 4pm


All Jazz Hands Glasgow Productions classes are running as normal until further notice. If schools and nurseries are closed then we will also consider closing classes in line with government advice (which we are following)
